PlasterboardDescription
Tillex Speedex Plugs (SD) are manufactured from galvanized steel and are designed for fast and reliable light-duty fixings in single-layer plasterboard (13 mm). No pre-drilling is required. Simply hammer the plug directly into the plasterboard before inserting the screw. The special anti-rotation design prevents the plug from turning during screw installation, ensuring a secure fixing. Speedex Plugs are ideal for light-duty applications such as picture hooks, shelving brackets and similar fixtures. The plug can be easily removed, leaving minimal damage to the plasterboard. Compatible with wood screws, self-tapping screws and chipboard screws with diameters from 3.5–5 mm and a minimum length of 30 mm.
